The youth across Oke-Ogun region of Oyo North Senatorial districts came out in numbers to weigh their support behind All Progressive Congress (APC) Senatorial aspirant and serving senator of the region, Sen. Fatai Omotayo Buhari for continuation of his legislative duties at Red Chamber come 2023.
The event has travelled across two local government out of 10 local government of the region, the maiden edition held in Saki west and yesterday was the turn of Orelope local government headquarters Igboho to witness the youth drive solidarity event in delivering Sen. Fatai Buhari for third term.
The event witnessed the trooping out of Youth across the 10 local government and gathered at Bayo Ojerinde Hall, Oke-Afin in Igboho to solidify their support for the legislature.
During the event, one of the youth representative, Moshood Yusuff Alade said, the event is self sponsored and way of giving room for competence over selfish interest. He described Buhari as serial achiever and world-class politician who take people at the forefront of his political affairs.
Describing the efforts of the Sen. Buhari on good governance and performing beyond his legislative duties positively, Barr. Bayo lawal said the Senator deserves all the ovation and supports his getting because of his level of achievement and positive impacts he has in the region.
He stressed forward that Politics should be about result not inheritance and noted that Oke-Ogun will deliver their vote for Buhari without considering ethnic cards.
According to Barrister Olowonjaye who is an Igboho indigene, he said the local government has benefited from the functional representation of Buhari without iota of doubt and he believed the best way to reward his back is to return him to Senate come 2023.
