The Aisha Community has embarked on a significant street linkage and maintenance project aimed at preventing erosion and enhancing local infrastructure. The initiative, which officially commenced this week, seeks to address pressing issues related to road connectivity and environmental sustainability in the area.
The community extended its gratitude to Hon. Abdrahman Oyedokun, Chairman of the Wewe Local Council Development Area (LCDA), for his vital support in initiating the project.
Hon. Oyedokun’s involvement has been pivotal in securing the necessary resources and approvals to tackle erosion-related challenges effectively.
In a statement by the community chairman, Mr Azeez Suaib (Sport Water) commended Hon. Oyedokun for his dedication and proactive approach in facilitating the project.
They highlighted his support as crucial in mobilizing efforts to safeguard the community from erosion, which has been a growing concern.
The street linkage and maintenance work is expected to mitigate erosion risks, improve road conditions, and enhance overall safety for residents.

The community furthered acknowledged the support of the Head of Local Governments Administration HLA, Engr. Lateef Durodola for his continuous support toward to the successful administration of the Chairman and community development at large.
