Alhaji Tajudeen Okunlola has been returned unopposed as the Local Government Party Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) following the party’s congress held at Isale Taba, Saki.
The congress, which attracted party leaders, delegates, and members from across the local government, was conducted peacefully and in line with party guidelines.
Announcing the result, the congress committee affirmed that Alhaji Okunlola emerged through a consensus arrangement, reflecting broad confidence in his leadership and track record.
In his acceptance remarks, Alhaji Tajudeen Okunlola thanked party members for the renewed mandate and pledged to deepen unity, strengthen grassroots mobilisation, and work toward sustained electoral success for the APC in the area.
Party stakeholders present at the event described the outcome as a vote of confidence and urged members to remain committed as the party prepares for future political engagements.
