APC moves to settle party crisis in Kano.

The ruling party in the country, All Please Congress (APC) has reached out to the agrieved sides of the party in Kano as a result of rancours that emanated from the just concluded states Congress.


The affected sides are Gov. Umaru Ganduje, The Governor of the states Faction and Senator Ibrahim Shekarau faction who are struggling to retain the party structure.


In a bid to avert crisis and prepare for upcoming election, the party National reconciliation committee has visited the state and call the parties involved to the roundtable for possible reconciliation.
This was contained in a statement released through the official Twitter page of the party which reads in part;

“A meeting between the APC national leadership and two factions of the party in Kano state has just ended in Abuja.
The meeting which has Gov Umar Ganduje leading one section and Sen Ibrahim Shekarau leading the other faction received briefings and proposals from the two factions.”


“Based on the submissions from the two parties, the national leadership of the APC promised to study all the proposals table at the meeting and take a definite stand that will be communicated to the two parties at a meeting to be convene soon. The meeting lasted for about 6hours.”

The final part of the reconciliation will take off soon and resolution will be released soon.
