It was a reconciliatory atmosphere at IPMAN hall Saki where the peace making meeting was conducted for the aggrieved members  of people’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Saki west local government under the chairmanship of Alhaji Lateef Ayesoro.

After the validation of his chairmanship by state executive council yesterday, the chairman begins his reconciliatory move by calling for peace meeting among the different factions of the party in the local government area.

The meeting was attended by different stakeholders of the meeting both at state level and local government level which includes The former Deputy Governor of Old Oyo state, Alhaji Hammed Gbadamosi, The former Chairman of Saki West Local government, Alh. Basiru Lawal bash, Former Caretaker Chairman of Saki West Local government,Alh. Salami Nasiru Nescotech, The Chairman of Asabari LCDA, Hon. Omirinde Sarafadeen, The PDP Chairman Saki West,Alhaji Lateef Ayesoro, The SA to the Governor on Political Matter, Hon. Lukman Adamawa, Member of Saki west local government caretaker committee Alhaja Damilola, Member of Trans City Transport Company Board, Mr. Quadri Ajibade, Alhaji Sikiru Ikuogbogun, Alhaji Ganiyu Alaka and Deacon Agbo and other party Stalwarts.

According to the chairman of the party, Ayesoro, he said the aims and objectives of the meeting is to address the issue of concern within the party and find a lasting solution to the crisis in the party.
He proceeded by urging all the members of the party to bury the hatchets and looks for a way-forward to progress the party.

Arch. Basiru Lawal urged the party member to settle any kind of rift among themselves and promised to commit himself to positive developments of the party.
Speaking at the event, the former Deputy Governor of Oyo state, Hon. Hammed Gbadamosi appreciate the meeting and said there is more to do in the course of welcoming a lasting peace to the party.
He urged all the elders in the party to accommodate peace and sacrifice a lot for the progress of the party.
Some of the member of the party also urged the leader to reach out to all the members of the party that are not present their and make sure things turn to new leave in Saki west PDP and the state at large.
