Isaac Omodewu, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, has passed away in the United States.
Omodewu had traveled to the US in November 2023 for medical treatment and had been receiving care for an undisclosed illness.
PUNCH Online had previously reported his departure from Nigeria for the medical trip. According to our sources, Omodewu, who was also a US citizen, succumbed to his ailment after nearly a year of treatment.
Olawale Sadare, the Publicity Secretary of the Oyo State APC, confirmed the news, stating simply, “Our chairman is dead.”
