A constituent from Saki West/Saki East/ATISBO Federal Constituency has commended Hon. Kareem Tajudeen Abisodun Were for what he described as a transparent and merit-based facilitation of a federal appointment into the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE).
In a social media post titled “Appointment Appreciation Post,” Alhaji Abdulrasaq Muhideen expressed gratitude to the lawmaker over the appointment of his sister-in-law, Dr. Abdulaleem Medinah, stressing that the process followed due procedure without favoritism.
“I want to sincerely appreciate Hon. Kareem Tajudeen Abisodun Were for the transparent federal appointment process that led to my sister-in-law’s appointment into FUOYE,” he wrote.
He explained that the opportunity was openly communicated to the public, noting that “the Senior Special Assistant (Media) to the Honourable made a public announcement calling on qualified individuals to apply.” According to him, Dr. Medinah applied like every other candidate and was later invited to collect her appointment letter.
Emphasising the fairness of the process, Muhideen stated, “At no point was there any form of special treatment or shortcut. Everything was based strictly on merit and due process.”
He described the development as a reflection of credible representation, adding that “this kind of transparent leadership gives hope to ordinary constituents that opportunities can truly be accessed without godfatherism.”
The constituent concluded the post with prayers and goodwill for the lawmaker, writing, “May Almighty Allah continue to guide and uplift Hon. Kareem Tajudeen Abisodun Were to greater heights in his political journey.”
