… Facilitates Digital Learning Center to Saki
In effort to bridge the digital divide and foster inclusive access to quality education, Hon. Kareem Tajudeen Abisodun, Member of the Federal House of Representatives, has successfully facilitated the establishment and commissioning of a state-of-the-art Digital Learning Center at Ansar-Deen High School in Saki. The landmark initiative, delivered in collaboration with the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), represents a strategic commitment to digital empowerment and educational equity in underserved communities.
The newly launched Digital Learning Center is comprehensively equipped with high-performance computer systems, broadband internet connectivity, and a suite of interactive e-learning tools designed to enhance digital literacy, cultivate innovation, and enable student-centric learning.
It is conceived as a dynamic space where students can explore technology, harness information, and acquire skills critical for academic success and participation in the global digital economy.
In a statement delivered by his Senior Adviser on Media and Publicity, Sheu Shittu Megida, Hon. Abisodun articulated the broader vision behind the initiative, framing education as the bedrock of sustainable development and national advancement.
“We are resolute in our belief that the future belongs to those who are prepared for it. By investing in digital infrastructure at the grassroots level, we are not only creating opportunities for individual growth but laying the foundation for a more enlightened and technologically empowered society.”
The commissioning ceremony, attended by local education authorities, school leadership, teachers, and students, was marked by enthusiasm and a shared sense of purpose. Acknowledging the instrumental role of NITDA in the successful realization of the project, Hon. Abisodun commended the agency’s strategic foresight and operational support. The Digital Learning Center is envisioned to serve not only the students of Ansar-Deen High School but also the wider community, providing an open-access platform for youth development, digital training, and ICT-driven capacity building.
