Engr. Hamid Gbadamosi Leads others to Strengthen PDP, reconcile members in Saki

In a concerted effort to foster unity and strengthen the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Saki West Local Government, the former Deputy Governor Engineer Hamid Gbadamosi has led series of marathon meetings involving key party stakeholders touching almost all issues bordering the party’s affairs within the Council.

The meetings, held from Friday to Sunday, saw active participation from prominent party members, yielding positive results for the party’s cohesion and growth.In his remarks, Gbadamosi highlighted the importance of sustaining the legacies of the late Koleosho, a revered leader whose commitment to the development of Oyo State and Nigeria remains an inspiration.

He urged party members to uphold Koleosho’s values and work towards the collective growth of the party in the Local Government and the state.Gbadamosi also praised Governor Seyi Makinde for his dedication to sustainable development through the “Omititun 2.0” agenda.

He commended the governor’s strides in ensuring progress across Oyo State and assured stakeholders that the administration would not leave any stone unturned in delivering good governance.

Acknowledging grievances within the party, Gbadamosi appealed to discontented members to remain calm and aligned with the government’s vision. “Let us set aside our differences and unite for the greater good of our party and the development of our communities,” he urged.

The series of meetings, which involved extensive consultations with various stakeholders, reflects a renewed effort to strengthen the PDP’s foundation in SWLG and beyond. Party members are optimistic that these reconciliation and frantic efforts will position the PDP for greater success in the region.

Engr. Hamid Gbadamosi was joined by notable figures such as Hon. Commissioner Nìyí Adebisi, Alhaji Daud Alaraje, Alhaji Rafiu Adekunle, Alhaji Lateef Koomi, Engineer Omirinde Najeem, Engineer Muda Eruobodo, and Barrister Sarafadeen Onijo. The meetings also included engagements with individuals like the Chairman of Saki West Local Government Hon. Gbenga Akinola, political head Wewe, Ásabari LCDA and other key stakeholders.The struggle continues as elders shall reconvene next weekend to forge ahead
