The Federal Government has officially declared Tuesday, October 1, 2024, as a public holiday to commemorate the 64th Independence Day Anniversary of Nigeria.
This announcement was made by the Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, on behalf of the Federal Government.
In a statement issued by the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Dr. Magdalene Ajani, the Minister extended congratulations to Nigerians both at home and abroad, highlighting the significance of the occasion.
“As we celebrate our nation’s independence, we reflect on our journey, achievements, and the collective efforts of all Nigerians in shaping our country,” Tunji-Ojo stated.
