Oyo State governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde has formally notified the Oyo State House of Assembly, OYHA, of the conclusion of his vacation and consequent resumption of duty.
The notification was contained in a letter forwarded to the House by the governor.
The letter was read at Tuesday’s plenary by the Speaker, Honourable Adebo Ogundoyin.
Governor Seyi Makinde said in line with the provision of Section 190(1) of the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999, the letter was meant to officially inform the House of the conclusion of his vacation and his resumption of duty.
It would be recalled that the Oyo State House of Assembly granted the request of Governor Seyi Makinde to proceed on vacation between the 11th of August, 2022 and the 2nd of September, 2022.
