The Halleluyah Reformed Political Movement (HRPM), Saki East Local Government Chapter, has reaffirmed its unwavering loyalty to Senator Hosea Ayoola Agboola, popularly known as Halleluyah, while clarifying his recent political decision to resign from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State.
The resolution was contained in a communiqué issued after the group’s meeting held on Monday, October 13, 2025, at the Sepeteri Town Hall, attended by party loyalists, coordinators, and supporters across Oke-Ogun.
According to the communiqué jointly signed by Alhaji Tajudeen Adetunji Alliu and Hon. Adam Folaranmi, the movement described Senator Agboola’s resignation as a well-considered personal and political decision guided by integrity, principle, and a renewed desire to serve the people in a redefined capacity.
The statement, however, clarified that the former Deputy Chief Whip of the 7th National Assembly has not yet declared for any political party, contrary to widespread speculations about his next move.
“Our leader, Oga Halleluyah, remains focused, reflective, and committed to the ideals of fairness, equity, and development that have always guided his political journey. Any news suggesting otherwise should be disregarded,” the communiqué stated.
The group further emphasized that the Halleluyah Reformed Political Movement (HRPM) is not a political party but a reform platform created to unite loyal supporters and admirers of Senator Agboola. The movement, it noted, aims to reform, rebuild, and reposition Oyo State’s political structure for genuine development and people-oriented governance.
Members across the 33 local government areas of Oyo State were urged to remain peaceful, steadfast, and focused as the movement awaits Senator Agboola’s next political direction.
“We shall continue to support our leader with loyalty and patience as he consults widely and prayerfully about the next political step forward,” the communiqué added.
The meeting ended with prayers for Senator Agboola, the movement, Oyo State, and Nigeria, reaffirming the group’s belief that the future is bright for the Halleluyah Reformed Political Movement under divine guidance.
