As Nigeria marks the 73rd birthday of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Saturday, March 29, Hon. Kareem Tajudeen Abisodun, the esteemed member of the House of Representatives representing Saki West, Saki East, and Atisbo Federal Constituency, and Chairman of the House Committee on Aviation Technology, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the President.
In a goodwill message, Hon. Abisodun emphasized the significance of celebrating a leader whose contributions to Nigeria’s democratic evolution remain profound.
Hon. Abisodun lauded President Tinubu as a democrat and patriot whose leadership has been a beacon of hope at a crucial juncture in Nigeria’s democratic journey. He also praised the President for floating the Naira, a policy he believes has begun yielding positive economic outcomes and demonstrates a firm commitment to economic revitalization.

He particularly cited the Student Loan Scheme, which aims to enhance access to higher education, and the Consumer Credit Scheme designed to empower citizens financially.

Hon. Abisodun commended the ongoing rehabilitation of the Port Harcourt Refinery as a strategic move to bolster Nigeria’s refining capacity and reduce dependence on imported petroleum products. Reflecting on recent economic indicators, Hon. Abisodun pointed out that Nigeria’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew by 3.2% in the last quarter of 2024, up from 2.5% in the preceding quarter, as reported by the National Bureau of Statistics. This, he argued, is a testament to the positive impact of the administration’s economic policies and the resilience of Nigeria’s economic framework under President Tinubu’s leadership.
