The Member representing Saki West, Saki East, and ATISBO Federal Constituency, Hon. Tajudeen Abisodun Kareem Were, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Hon. Abdulganiyu Oseni, popularly known as ‘Ayesoro’, a former Oyo State House of Assembly member who represented Irepo/Olorunsogo Constituency in the 8th Assembly under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a condolence message issued on Tuesday, Hon. Were described the late Ayesoro as “a committed public servant, a loyal party man, and a true son of Oke-Ogun whose legacy of service will remain evergreen.”
According to reports by InsideOyo, the family confirmed his demise, linking it to an illness, though details remain sketchy at the time of this report.
Hon. Were noted that Ayesoro’s contributions during the administration of late Governor Abiola Ajimobi were impactful, particularly in advancing the welfare of his constituents and promoting the values of good governance that defined the APC during that era.
“The death of Hon. Abdulganiyu Oseni is a great loss not only to his immediate family but to the entire Oke-Ogun region and the APC family in Oyo State. He was a man of humility, courage, and deep commitment to public service. His passing has left a vacuum that will be difficult to fill,” Were stated.
He extended his heartfelt condolences to the Oseni family, the people of Irepo/Olorunsogo, and the entire APC family in Oyo State, praying for the repose of the departed soul and for God to grant the family the strength to bear the loss.
“May Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings, accept his return, and grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus,” the lawmaker added.
