The Honourable Tajudeen Abisodun Kareem, representing the Saki West, Saki East, and Atisbo Federal Constituency, officially launched the Tiwadayo/Challenge’s road construction project on Friday.
The flag-off ceremony was attended by various dignitaries, including Alhaji Thabit Olofa, who represented Hon. Kareem.
Olofa provided an overview of the extensive processes involved in securing the project’s facilitation, emphasizing the collaborative efforts of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and local stakeholders.
In his address, Olofa expressed gratitude to the community and the Old Ifedapo region for their unwavering support to Hon. Kareem’s administration.
He urged residents to cooperate fully with the contractor, Engr. Yunus Olalekan from BIDMUSRIDGWELL Construction Company, to ensure the project’s success.
Engr. Olalekan elaborated on the project’s specifications, noting that it will encompass 270 meters of 8-foot interlocking pavement—marking a significant development in road infrastructure for the area.
He appealed for community patience and support to expedite the construction process.
Alhaji Lawal Abdrasaq Adebayo, Vice President of Saki Parapo and a resident of Tiwadayo, commended Hon. Kareem for his steadfast commitment to community and human development. He expressed hope for the lawmaker’s continued success in office.
Olofa concluded by assuring constituent that all communities on Hon. Kareem’s promise list would soon see tangible results.
This road project follows a series of recent initiatives by Hon. Kareem, including a five-day training program for women and youth and the installation of solar-powered boreholes in Saki and Irawo.
