IGP Seeks Support For The Police Force And Inaugurates Station In Ogun State

The Inspector General of Police has assured Nigerians of the Police’s willingness to partner with stakeholders in ensuring adequate security for lives and property and to reduce crimes in Ogun State and the country in general.

He made this known during the inauguration of an ultra-modern Police Station and Barracks at Simawa, Ogun State

The Inspector General of Police advised citizens not to see the security of their environment as the duty of the Police alone but as part of their duties and support the Police with the necessary information and other things that can make society more secure.

The Inspector-General of Police who was represented by the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 2 made this known during the inauguration of the ultra-modern Police Station and Police Barracks at Simawa, Ogun State.

The IGP commended the donor of the project and urged the Police officers and the Community of Simawa to maintain the facility very well and ensure it does fall into disrepair.

For his part, the National Chairman of the Police Community Relations Committee said the police station is one of the best in the country and commended the donor of the Station and those who facilitated the project.
