The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) have relaxed the ongoing indefinite strike for one Week.
The President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Joe Ajaero confirms the relaxation of the strike while addressing the newsmen in Abuja.
Comrade Ajaero maintained that the strike is not suspended.
The Federal Government, on Monday met with the Organized Labour at the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, with a view to ending the industrial action.
After their deliberatiion, both parties resolved to pay National Minimum Wage that is higher than N60,000.
The Tripartite Committee is to meet everyday for the next one week with a view to arriving at an agreeable National Minimum Wage.
