Hon. Kareem Tajudeen Abisodun, the esteemed representative of Atisbo, Saki East, and Saki West Federal Constituency also serves as the Chairman of the House Committee on Culture and Tourism, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Oba Dr. Surv. Khalid Olabisi Ilugbemidepo Ayinla Ado III, the revered Okere of Sakiland, as he marks the fifth anniversary of his ascension to the throne.
The celebratory message, which was made available to our correspondent by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Sheu Shittu Megida highlighted the monarch’s leadership, progress, and contributions to the cultural and socio-economic development of Sakiland.
In his statement, Hon. Abisodun lauded Oba Ayinla Ado III for his visionary leadership, which has significantly impacted the traditional institution and the communities under his reign.
He commended the monarch’s commitment to promoting peace, unity, and development across the Saki region, noting that under his rule, Sakiland has experienced a resurgence in cultural preservation, infrastructural development, and socio-political stability.
“As the representative of Atisbo, Saki East, and Saki West Federal Constituency, I take great pride in the progress Sakiland has made under your guidance, Your Majesty, Your leadership has been instrumental in fostering peace and advancing the socio-economic welfare of the people. Hon. Abisodun, whose role as Chairman of the House Committee on Culture and Tourism has positioned him at the forefront of national efforts to elevate Nigeria’s cultural and tourism sectors, emphasized the critical role traditional rulers like Ọba Olabisi play in promoting cultural tourism and heritage conservation.
He praised the monarch for his dedication to enhancing the cultural landscape of Sakiland, which he believes has the potential to become a beacon for tourism and cultural exchange in Nigeria.
The Federal lawmaker also noted that the Okere of Sakiland’s leadership extends beyond cultural preservation to areas of education, healthcare, and community welfare.
