Must read

In a remarkable display of legislative influence and commitment to grassroots empowerment, Hon. Kareem Tajudeen Abisodun, the Member representing Atisbo, Saki East, and Saki West Federal Constituency, has successfully secured federal appointments for three constituents into key national institutions. The development has been widely applauded as a major boost to human capital advancement within the constituency.

In two official statements issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Sheu Shittu Megida, Hon. Abisodun announced the facilitation of appointments into the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) and the Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital, Irrua, Edo State. These appointments, according to him, are part of ongoing efforts to ensure qualified and deserving individuals from the constituency gain access to federal opportunities and contribute meaningfully to national development.

The first announcement confirmed the appointment of Mrs. Toluwalope Odogiyon (née Bello of the Anwure Family) as a Deputy Manager at the Federal Inland Revenue Service. Mrs. Odogiyon, a doctorate holder and lecturer at the Federal University of Technology, Minna, is the daughter of a late Saki-born academic who was tragically killed in Minna in 2023. Hon. Abisodun described the appointment as not only a personal achievement for the appointee but also a source of solace and pride for her family, noting that her success continues the remarkable legacy of her late mother.

“This achievement stands as a testament to our unwavering commitment to creating opportunities for qualified individuals in our constituency,” the statement read. “It reflects our belief that the intellectual and professional capacities within Atisbo, Saki East, and Saki West must be fully represented at the national level.”

In a separate announcement, Hon. Abisodun also disclosed the successful facilitation of federal employment for two other constituents—Miss Moshood Zainab Folake and Miss Adeleke Maisarah Adejoke—who have both been appointed as Nursing Officers at the Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital. Their appointments, he said, further demonstrate his commitment to ensuring that skilled professionals from his constituency gain access to strategic federal institutions where their expertise can be effectively utilized.

“These appointments reaffirm our dedication to supporting deserving constituents in their professional pursuits,” the statement noted. “We remain focused on broad-based empowerment that strengthens families, enhances livelihood opportunities, and elevates the reputation of our constituency across Nigeria.”

Hon. Abisodun extended heartfelt congratulations to all three appointees, expressing confidence that they would excel in their respective roles and continue to represent the constituency with integrity, professionalism, and distinctio.
