Hon. Kareem Tajudeen Abisodun has extended warm felicitations to Christians across his constituency and beyond as they mark the 2025 Christmas celebration, describing the season as a solemn period for reflection, love, sacrifice and renewed hope for a better society.
He said the birth of Jesus Christ remains a timeless reminder of selfless service, peace and compassion, values which Nigeria urgently requires at this critical stage of its national journey.

In a goodwill message released on Wednesday, Hon. Abisodun rejoiced with the Christian faithful for witnessing another Christmas, acknowledging the resilience of Nigerians in the face of prevailing socio-economic and security challenges.
He commended Christians for their consistent contributions to nation-building through prayers, moral uprightness and peaceful coexistence with adherents of other faiths, noting that religious harmony remains a vital pillar of sustainable development.
The lawmaker admonished Christians to use the Christmas period to intensify prayers for the peace, unity and overall development of Nigeria. According to him, national progress cannot be achieved through policies and programmes alone without divine guidance and collective commitment from citizens.
He stressed that prayers for visionary leadership, economic stability and social justice are crucial to repositioning the country on the path of growth and prosperity.
Hon. Abisodun further urged Nigerians, irrespective of religious affiliation, to imbibe the lessons of Christmas by extending love to one another, supporting the less privileged and promoting tolerance within their communities.
He emphasised that acts of kindness, mutual respect and civic responsibility are practical expressions of faith that can translate into tangible development at the grassroots level.

Reaffirming his commitment to people-oriented representation, Hon. Abisodun assured constituents of his continued dedication to initiatives and policies that would improve living standards, strengthen social welfare and enhance inclusive development. He noted that the collective support and prayers of the people remain a source of encouragement as he continues to discharge his legislative and public responsibilities.
He concluded by wishing Christians a peaceful and joyous Christmas celebration and prayed that the New Year would usher in renewed hope, stability and measurable progress for Nigeria. Hon. Abisodun called on all citizens to remain optimistic and united, expressing confidence that with faith, prayers and collective effort, the nation will overcome its challenges and achieve sustainable development.
