The State Governor Engineer Seyi Makinde has again charged the people of the state, to come out and perform their civic responsibilities by voting during the Local Government Election coming up on Saturday.
Governor Makinde gave the charge during his campaign tour of Iseyin ahead of the Saturday Council Election.
In his quest to ensure all round victory for the candidates of the People’s Democratic Party PDP, in the forthcoming April 27 local government election in the state, the State Governor Engineer Seyi Makinde on Tuesday joined the state PDP, Family Campaign trail to give the part flag bearers the needed support.
While presenting the flags to the PDP flag bearers, governor Makinde who assured the people that their votes will count, charged the party Stalwarts to be united and work together to achieve the needed results, saying that he expected free and fair elections devoid of election malpractices.
The Governor however expressed confidence that the PDP candidates would come out victorious considering unprecedented achievements he has recorded in Oke Ogun Zone and the State in general, since he took the mantle of leadership.
In their various goodwill messages, the PDP State Chairman, DayoOgungbenro represented by the state deputy Chairman, James Olukunle, the former State Party Chairman, Alhaji Omokunmi Mustapha, and some other party leaders lauded governor Seyi Makinde on his masses-oriented Programmes.
