LG Elections: Police Assures Residents Maximum Security in Kwara

The Kwara State Police Command has announced comprehensive security measures to ensure a smooth and secure local government election scheduled for Saturday, September 21, 2024.

Commissioner of Police Victor Olaiya made the assurances in a recent statement, emphasizing the commitment to maintaining peace throughout the electoral process.

Olaiya outlined that the command has implemented thorough arrangements aimed at guaranteeing a peaceful, free, and fair election across all polling units in the state.

He highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts among security agencies, stating that a strategic meeting with key stakeholders was conducted to fine-tune coordinated responses to potential challenges.
