A clarion call for unity, political synergy, and unwavering support for the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, reverberated through the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Thursday, as Governor Hopeful under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Gbenga Adegbola, addressed a distinguished gathering at the APC National Summit.

Speaking to an audience, Dr. Adegbola underscored the pivotal role of collective responsibility in actualizing a stronger, more inclusive Nigerian society. He asserted that the success of the administration’s transformative vision hinges on the willingness of all Nigerians, especially APC members, to align with President Tinubu’s strategic roadmap.

“We can achieve a better society when we join hands with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, on his Renewed Hope Agenda for the progress of our great party, the All Progressives Congress, and Nigeria as a whole,” Dr. Adegbola said, his voice echoing the summit’s overarching theme: “Renewed Hope, Shared Prosperity.”

The Renewed Hope Agenda, which forms the bedrock of President Tinubu’s governance philosophy, is a multifaceted framework targeting economic revitalization, infrastructural renaissance, national security enhancement, digital transformation, youth empowerment, and social cohesion. Dr. Adegbola emphasized that the agenda is not merely a set of political promises but a strategic blueprint for Nigeria’s 21st-century rebirth.

“We must transcend the politics of division and focus on the larger picture—nation-building. The APC remains the vessel for progressive change, but it is only through unity of purpose and a people-first orientation that we can unlock Nigeria’s full potential,” he added.

Throughout his address, Dr. Adegbola highlighted key milestones already achieved under the Renewed Hope Agenda, including expanded infrastructure projects, increased foreign direct investment inflows, improved fiscal transparency, and strides in digital governance. He also lauded the administration’s commitment to tackling inflation, diversifying the economy, and implementing inclusive social welfare programs.

The summit, convened as a strategic think tank for consolidating the APC’s policy direction and party cohesion, featured keynote addresses from party chieftains, breakout sessions on national development priorities, and a closed-door strategy session involving the President and state governors.

President Tinubu, in a brief appearance, reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to good governance, accountability, and the upliftment of every Nigerian, irrespective of creed, ethnicity, or political affiliation. He commended the party’s leadership and the Summit Planning Committee for fostering a platform for introspection, innovation, and dialogue.

As the event drew to a close, Dr. Adegbola’s remarks continued to resonate with attendees. His call to action—anchored in patriotism, discipline, and visionary alignment—served as a reminder that Nigeria’s destiny is a shared responsibility.
“In the spirit of Renewed Hope,” he concluded, “we must not merely support this agenda; we must embody it. Only then can we truly reshape our nation into a beacon of progress, stability, and prosperity for generations to come.”
