NBTE accredits more courses for TOPS as Onijo lauds Makinde On Accreditation’s success.

NBTE accredits more courses for Oke Ogun Poly as Onijo lauds Makinde for the success of accreditation. 


No fewer than 29 courses were accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) for the Oke Ogun Polytechnic, Saki.

recalled that in 2014, during the administration of late Governor Ajimobi, the institution got autonomy from the Polytechnic Ibadan.
 
It was gathered that on the 9th of January 2023, not less than 15 national diploma courses and 15 higher national diploma courses were presented for the accreditation exercise, which lasted for three days for thorough inspection examination and in-depth analysis of the requirements for the accreditation. 

Also at the plenary session of the exercise, the Chairman of the Hiverning Council of the institution, Barr. S. A. Lateef Onijo, appreciated the team and prayed for their safety and the success of the exercise. He continued by appreciating HE Governor Seyi Makinde for his responsive attention, which he always gives to TOPS in times of need. 

On his part, HRM Oba Surv. Khalid Olabisi Oyeniyi Oyedepo III, ably represented by the High Chief AbdRasheed Adegoke, the Bagii of Saki equally thanked the team and appealed to the team to assist the Sako community as TOPS remains the only tertiary institution in this area. 

During the exit part of the program, the team leaders of the NBTE presented their area of observation and encouraged the council chairman to put more efforts into standardizing the institution. 

All the courses presented for accreditation were accredited by the NBTE. 

While speaking with the council chairman on the telephone, he glorified God Almighty for the success of the exercise, dedicated the success to HE Governor Seyi Makinde, and promised to put more effort into ensuring that the school is taken to greater heights.
