Must read

Hon. Kareem Tajudeen Abisodun, the Member representing Saki West, Saki East, and Atisbo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, declared that Nigeria is firmly on the path to prosperity under the Renewed Hope Agenda championed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Speaking at the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Summit held at the prestigious Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja, Hon. Abisodun emphasized that the Tinubu administration’s strategic reforms and policy frameworks are gradually stabilizing the economy, restoring investor confidence, and addressing long-standing structural deficiencies.

“The Renewed Hope Agenda is not just a campaign slogan—it is a national blueprint for transformation,” Hon. Abisodun stated. “President Tinubu has demonstrated courageous leadership in the face of adversity, and today, Nigerians are beginning to witness the foundational outcomes of policy recalibration aimed at long-term socioeconomic sustainability.”

The lawmaker praised the President’s economic reform agenda, citing key initiatives such as the removal of fuel subsidies, the unification of exchange rates, and renewed focus on infrastructure development, agriculture, digital innovation, and youth empowerment. He noted that while these reforms have come with short-term sacrifices, they represent necessary steps toward achieving economic self-reliance and inclusive growth.

“The Federal Constituency I represent—Saki West, Saki East, and Atisbo—is already beginning to feel the impact of federal policy attention, particularly in rural electrification, agro-allied support, and small business revitalization,” he remarked. “We are no longer theorizing prosperity—we are witnessing the early fruits of visionary governance.”

Hon. Abisodun also used the platform to call for increased national unity and patience among citizens, urging stakeholders across the public and private sectors to align with the federal government’s developmental vision. According to him, the Renewed Hope Agenda requires a collective commitment from all Nigerians to succeed.

He further commended the APC leadership for organizing the summit, describing it as a critical forum for policy introspection and strategic alignment. “This Summit reaffirms the APC’s role not just as a political vehicle, but as an engine of national development,” he said.

The APC National Summit convened party leaders, federal lawmakers, ministers, technocrats, and grassroots mobilizers to assess the progress of President Tinubu’s administration and chart a course for sustained implementation of his agenda. Discussions revolved around economic revitalization, national security, education, healthcare delivery, and digital transformation.

As the country navigates a challenging but hopeful transitional phase, Hon. Abisodun’s optimistic outlook adds to growing calls for sustained public support and institutional collaboration in driving the Renewed Hope Agenda to full realization.

“Nigeria is rising, we are indeed on the path of prosperity, guided by bold reforms, grounded in hope, and anchored in the promise of a better tomorrow,” he concluded.
