Niyi Adebisi Resolves Land Dispute Between Micheal Adeniyi Koleosho Polytechnic and Adegunwa Family

The lingering land dispute between the management of former The Oke-Ogun Polytechnic and now Micheal Adeniyi Koleosho Polytechnic, Saki, and the Adegunwa family has been amicably resolved following the intervention of the Oyo State Commissioner for Trade and Investment, Hon. Niyi Adebisi.

The peace meeting, which held today at the Saki Parapo Town Hall, brought an end to the long-standing disagreement over the ownership of the land on which the institution is situated.

The Adegunwa family, who had laid claim to the land, agreed to settle the matter out of court after fruitful deliberations led by Hon. Adebisi. The resolution was described as a victory for peace, education, and community harmony in Oke-Ogun.

The meeting was attended by notable stakeholders, including members of the Saki Parapo Caretaker Committee, Hon. Rafiu Adekunle, Chairman, Oyo State Pension Board; and Hon. Ige Abiola Mayowa, Supervisory Councillor in Saki West Local Government and member of Adegunwa’s family.

Speakiytttww I tvwttt y”I ng after the meeting, Hon. Adebisi commended both parties for embracing peace and prioritizing the educational advancement of the region. He emphasized that resolving the dispute paves the way for further infrastructural development within the polytechnic and surrounding communities.
