Political leaders across the 10 local governments in Oke-Ogun held a crucial closed-door meeting in Saki on Tuesday, reaffirming their commitment to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and pledging total loyalty to the decisions of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the party hierarchy ahead of 2027 election.
The meeting, which was attended by key stakeholders from all the local governments in the Oke-Ogun zone in Saki at Alh. SulaimanAjibade’s house, also had in attendance the Member representing Saki West, Saki East, and ATISBO Federal Constituency, Hon. Tajudeen Abisodun Kareem Were.
Sources at the meeting revealed that deliberations centered on party unity, grassroots mobilization, and strategic alignment ahead of future political engagements.
In a unified resolution, the elders reaffirmed their confidence in President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, describing it as a clear path toward national recovery and development, they also commend Hon. Were legislative proactiveness and promoting inclusion in party. They also emphasized the need for continuous collaboration between party members and leaders at all levels to sustain APC’s dominance in Oke-Ogun and across Oyo State.
The leaders pledged to support every policy and decision made by the national leadership of the party, stressing that internal cooperation remains key to delivering democratic dividends to the people.
Hon. Tajudeen Abisodun Kareem Were commended the leaders for their steadfastness and unity of purpose, noting that their collective commitment would further strengthen the political base of the APC in Oke-Ogun.
“The spirit of togetherness and loyalty we witnessed today shows that Oke-Ogun remains a stronghold of progressivism. Our elders have shown great leadership by putting the party first, and this is the kind of unity we need as we move forward under the Renewed Hope Agenda,” Were stated.
The meeting concluded with renewed optimism among party faithful, who expressed readiness to work tirelessly for the continued growth of the APC and the success of President Tinubu’s administration.
