Leaders and stakeholders from Irepo, Olorunsogo, and Oorelope Local Governments on Thursday endorsed Hon. Kareem Tajudeen Abisodun (Were) as their preferred candidate for the 2027 senatorial election.
The endorsement was made at a federal constituency meeting held at Tafoo Hotel, attended by council chairmen, ward executives, and party members across the three local governments.

Prominent figures at the meeting included Alhaji Ayinla from Igbeti, Alhaji Somope from Igboho, and Washington from Irepo.
Speakers at the meeting described Abisodun as a leader who embodies fairness, equity, and accountability. They cited his record of representation, accessibility, and humility as reasons for backing his candidacy.

A communiqué delivered by Samsudeen Adisa stated: “We wholeheartedly adopt Hon. Abisodun as our senatorial candidate for 2027 as we cannot bargain our ten councils in Oke-Ogun for three councils.”

The meeting ended with a unanimous declaration that Abisodun remains the choice of the people for the Senate in 2027.
