The state House of Assembly candidate of Social Democratic Party, Hon. Saheed Adesokan has congratulated Oba Khalid Olabisi Ilugbemidepo on his recent appointment as Chancellor of Inter-Land Border University, Togo.
In a statement released by Hon. Adesokan, he congratulate the king on the appointment and described him as the pace setter leader who is changing the role of traditional authority in the state positively.
He described the title conferred on Kabiyesi as round peg in the round hole considering the effort of Okere of Saki in peace keeping, educational development and bilateral relationship beyond the shore of Nigeria.
“We are not surprised that our father has just been honored outside the country, it is a title well deserved considering his efforts in educational development, creation of wealth and sponsoring of less privilege to have a better education, you will consider him to be a partner in success for any Organization related to him”.
He added that his administrative efforts has continued to put Saki on a global map and this is coming as a result of his commitment to development and peace always.
Hon. Adesokan wish Kabiyesi a successful tenure in office and congratulate Okere in council and all the indigenes of Saki on this and urged them to emulate exemplary role of Kabiyesi in everywhere they found themselves.
