Oyo 2023: It’s not yet Your Turn, Queue Behind Makinde — Adeojo Tells Folarin

As the race towards next year’s general elections gathers momentum, an Elder Statesman and former National Deputy Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP; Alhaji Yekeen Adeojo has thrown his weight behind the candidacy of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, ‘Seyi Makinde as he publicly called for the continuation of his administration in the state come 2O23.

Alhaji Adeojo made the declaration at his residence when he hosted Governor ‘Seyi Makinde who paid him a condolence visit on the demise of his mother.

While describing himself as the father of all governorship candidates in the state, Alhaji Adeojo said Governor ‘Seyi Makinde stands out among his equals, having performed creditably well in the last three years in office.

The former deputy national chairman (South) of the Peoples Democratic Party said both Governor ‘Seyi Makinde and Senator Teslim Folarin are his political sons, but urged Folarin to wait beyond 2023.

Recall Gov. Makinde had on Sunday consoled Alhaji Yekini Adeojo and his family over the death of his 127-year old mother, late Alhaja Ayisatu Larinre Adeojo, saying Mama deserved to be celebrated because it was a fulfilled life.
