Oyo Schools Resume For 2024/2025 Academic Session

Academic activities have officially resumed today, Tuesday, marking the beginning of the 2024/2025 academic session across public and private primary and secondary schools in Oyo State.

This resumption follows the directive issued by the State Ministry of Education.

Newsmen who observed the reopening across various schools in the Ibadan metropolis, confirmed that teaching and learning activities have begun in nearly all of the institutions visited.

The resumption has seen a substantial turnout of students, signaling a strong start to the new academic year.

At St. Anne’s College in Molete, Ibadan, Principal Mrs. Moradehun Olatunji emphasized the importance of dedication and excellence for the students.

In an interview with Newmen, she encouraged students to remain focused and make excellence their primary goal throughout the academic session.

The State Ministry of Education’s directive underscores a commitment to ensuring a smooth transition into the new academic year, with the aim of fostering a productive and successful environment for both students and educators.
