President Bola Tinubu has appointed eight new Federal Permanent Secretaries to address existing and upcoming vacancies in the top administrative cadre of the Federal Civil Service, according to Ajuri Ngelale, the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity.

The appointments, which cover various states and geo-political zones, followed a rigorous selection process conducted by the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.

President Tinubu expects the new appointees to demonstrate absolute dedication, diligence, and loyalty to the nation in fulfilling their responsibilities, with a focus on ensuring optimal service delivery to the public.

The newly appointed Permanent Secretaries are:

  1. Dr. Emanso Umobong Okop (Akwa-Ibom)
  2. Obi Emeka Vitalis (Anambra)
  3. Mahmood Fatima Sugra Tabi’a (Bauchi)
  4. Danjuma Mohammed Sanusi (Jigawa)
  5. Olusanya Olubunmi (Ondo)
  6. Dr. Keshinro Maryam Ismaila (Zamfara)
  7. Akujobi Chinyere Ijeoma (South-East)
  8. Isokpunwu Christopher Osaruwanmwen (South-South)

These appointments aim to strengthen the leadership within the Federal Civil Service and ensure representation across different regions of Nigeria.
