Hon. Salaudeen Soliu Abiodun, representing Ward 1, Hon. Salaudeen Kabeer Adebayo representing Ward 4 and others from Saki West Local government Area has been successfully screened to recontest for the post of Councilor representing their various Ward.
This was contained in a statement signed by Micheal Ogunsina, Acting Publicity Secretary of the party, which was made available to newsmen in Ibadan, capital city of Oyo State on Monday.
Also names of candidates from other local government were released as well ahead of the local government election in the state.
The statement read: “The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State would like to extend its heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to all party members, leaders, and stakeholders for their unwavering commitment and dedication to the Party during the Councilorship Primary elections held on the 23rd of July 2023. This remarkable display of unity and cooperation has undoubtedly strengthened our party’s foundation and demonstrated our collective goal to work towards the betterment of our great state.
“We commend all members for their active participation and support during the primary elections, as it is a testament to their belief in the ideals and vision of the PDP. It is heartwarming to see how everyone came together, ensuring peace and harmony throughout the electoral process.
“We are pleased to announce that the Councilorship Primary elections were conducted smoothly, transparently, and with utmost fairness, leading to the emergence of capable and deserving candidates.
