The Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has rewarded 20 medical directors of state-owned hospitals for their outstanding performance in improving health sectors in the state.
The event which took place today at General hospital Odan, Lagos State had many government officials and the governor himself in presence.
According to a release by official Facebook page of the governor which reads;
“As we increase our investment in expanding access to healthcare in Lagos through the upgrade and improvement in hospital infrastructure, we are also fulfilling our promise to provide better welfare packages that will enhance service delivery to health care professionals.”
“Today, I presented 30 brand new vehicles to Medical Directors of State-owned secondary and tertiary healthcare facilities.”
“I presented the vehicles to the Medical Directors at a brief handover ceremony held at the General Hospital, Odan, Lagos.”
He enjoined the rewarded officers and their colleagues to live up to expectations and rightfully follow the ethics of the job.
“I urged the Medical Directors to continue to commit themselves to better service delivery and also inspire other professionals under them to stay true to their oath to always make caring for their patients a solemn duty.”
