Rt. Hon. Abd Kareem Tajudeen Abisodun Were, Member representing Atisbo, Saki East and Saki West Federal who is also the Chairman, House Committee on Culture and Tourism, has spearheaded a transformative initiative aimed at empowering two hundred residents of his Constituency with practical skills in phone repair worth twenty million naira.
This initiative, in collaboration with the Centre for Management Development under the Ministry of Human Development and powered by June 6 Global Service Limited, marks a significant effort to bolster local economic development and self-sufficiency.
The comprehensive training program, who holds for two days is aimed to provid participants with hands-on instruction in phone diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.
The collaboration with the Centre for Management Development ensured that the training was conducted with high standards, while June 6 Global Service Limited supplied essential tools and resources.
During the closing ceremony, Rt. Hon. Abd Kareem Tajudeen Abisodun Were represented by Alhaji Thabit Olofa emphasized the importance of utilizing the newly acquired skills effectively..
“This training is more than just an opportunity to learn; it is a chance to improve your livelihoods and contribute positively to our community. I urge each of you to apply these skills judiciously and use them to not only enhance your own economic situation but also to support and uplift those around you,” Hon. Were stated.
Each participant in the program received a startup grant of ₦50,000. The grant aims to provide initial support for their ventures and encourage innovation and entrepreneurship.
Additionally, Hon. Tajudeen Abisodun Were have pledged to consider further financial assistance if the effectiveness of the initial grant is evident in any participant’s progress.
