The 2025 edition of the Funfunlogun Ileya Football Competition concluded in a spirited and festive atmosphere, celebrating athletic prowess, community pride, and youth engagement across the Oke-Ogun region. The tournament, which featured an impressive roster of 20 grassroots football teams, reached its peak as Pride FC was crowned champion, earning the prestigious top prize of ₦1 million following a remarkable performance throughout the competition.

Intelligence FC claimed second place, receiving ₦750,000, while Golden Talent FC secured the third position with ₦500,000. Igboro United FC rounded out the top four, earning ₦250,000 for their efforts. The financial rewards reflected not only sporting achievement but also a broader commitment to youth development through sports.
The tournament was generously sponsored by Rt. Hon. Kareem Tajudeen Abisodun, Member of the Federal House of Representatives representing Saki West, Saki East, and Atisbo Federal Constituency. His initiative to fund and support the event for yet another year reaffirmed his advocacy for grassroots sports development and his broader vision for youth empowerment through strategic community engagement.

The competition brought together 20 teams across four groups, representing communities within and beyond the host constituency.

Among the participating clubs were Golden Talents FC, Ago-Are United FC, Intelligent FC, Saki East Harmony FC, Sky Rocket FC (Owotoro), Shining Stars FC, Molad FA (Tede), J.T.S FC, Saki East Pillar FC, Atisbo United FC, Sango United FC, Saki East United FC, Okere Elfi United FC, White Eleven FA, Accurate FC, Igboro United FC, Saki East Base FC, Pride FC, Irewole Rangers FC, Asabari Besinlona FC
The diversity of teams and their geographic spread reflected the tournament’s inclusive nature and its role as a unifying sporting event across the Saki West, Saki East, and Atisbo axis.
