The Aridunnu Family executives under the leadership of Aare Abdulrahaman Quabid Aderemi felicitate and rejoice all our Muslim brothers and sisters throughout the world on the occasion of the Eid al-Adha celebration.
Aderemi noted that “Time like this is an opportunity for Muslims and even non-Muslims to reflect on the genesis of the Ileya celebration for the purpose of learning some lessons upon which the festival came into being.”
“Prophet Ibrahim (peace be unto him) was to fulfill a promise made to sacrifice his only son, Prophet Ismail (peace be unto him) to God, but due to his steadfastness in faith, God turned his sorrow to joy by replacing Ismail with a ram. The lesson here is that no matter how tough a situation is, don’t give up on yourself; don’t conclude it is all over.”
“We urge all the Muslim ummah to use this occasion to pray to Almighty Allah to revamp this nation’s economy and banish poverty, insecurities, and other vices from our society.”
“As we wine and dine today, let’s remember to make others, especially the less privileged happy by sharing the little we have with them. We pray that God makes us witness many more of this great occasion of Eid’il Adha Festival. Amen.”
“And we pray may Allah SWT grant and vouchsafe us relief from anxiety and grief, protect us from worldly affairs and distractions that take us away from Him.” He Concluded.
