The Executive Governor of Oyo state Engr. Seyi Makinde has appointed a veteran lawyer and Saki born politician Barr. S.A Lateef Onijo as the chairman Governing council of The Oke-Ogun Polytechnic, Saki.
The Governor made the announcement and confirmation of the appointment at the state Secretariat in Ibadan today.
He charged the newly appointed Chairman to ensure academic excellence and educational development in the institution.
While receiving the official letter, Barr. Onijo thanked the Governor for his magnanimity to appoint him as the chairman of the board and believe in his leadership prowess to move the institution to enviable heights.
He promised to commit to the educational development agenda of the governor and rise the polytechnic to enviable heights during his tenure as the chairman of the council.
