Oyo state Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde has approved the extension of Saki Dual carriage road by 1.2KM of Saki.
He made this known during the commissioning of Saki dual carriage this morning by Governor of Adamawa state, Alhaji Umaru Fintiri.
Makinde said the decision to extend the road was informed by the request from the His Royal Majesty, Oba Dr Surv. Khalid Oyeniyi Olabisi Oyedepo III, through the Chief Judge of Oyo, Justice Munta Abimbola, noting that the road will be beneficial to Farmers, traders who majorly ply the road for commercial activities and his government is people oriented, who want the stress-free commercial activities for the citizens.
He promised that the work will commence as soon as possible.
While thanking the governor, The Executive Chairman of Saki West LG, Engr. Sarafadeen Omirinde described Makinde as a Godsent man and a treasure to Oyo state politics and Nigeria in general.
He said the governor has continuing setting the pace and placing Oyo state on international map.
