One of the leading social group in the country Aridunnu Family has embarked on mass sensitization of public on permanent voters card registration, collection and voting.
The group took the campaign to streets, market, religious centers and government offices in Saki West local government.
The campaign was kick started at Saki West Local government Secretariat which span across the city of Saki to educate people on benefits in participating in electioneering process and reason why everybody who has attained the age of 18 should have a PVC.
The group enjoined the INEC, the Executive Chairman SWLG, the Okere of Saki Land and other notable stakeholders in Saki to do more on sensitization campaign using every medium to talk about the importance of registering and getting your PVC.
INEC should create more registration and collection centres within and around the Saki City.
INEC should encourage their staff, monitor them also to make sure they attend to people politely and well.
INEC should provide everything needed for the effective discharge of duty of their staff at the registration and collection centres.
The President of the group, Abdulrahman Quabid expressed his gratitude to member of the group, board of trustees and public for trooping out to grace the event and taking front in revolutionary act.
He urged people to desist from vote selling as the future holds better rewards than ruining it with just 500Naira.
