As political activities gradually gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections, the Media Team of the Niyi Adebisi Campaign Organisation (NACO) has spotlighted the economic empowerment record of Hon. Adeniyi Olabode Adebisi, highlighting interventions aimed at supporting small businesses, equipping entrepreneurs and expanding economic opportunities across Atisbo, Saki East and Saki West Federal Constituency.

In a statement made available to newsmen in Saki on Saturday, the organisation described Adebisi’s approach to grassroots economic development as one centred on improving access to financial support, strengthening entrepreneurial capacity and creating opportunities for local businesses to benefit from government economic activities.
NACO identified his facilitation of credit facilities through the Nigeria COVID-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus (NG-CARES) programme as one of the initiatives designed to assist constituents operating small businesses. According to the organisation, the intervention sought to help local entrepreneurs access resources needed to sustain their businesses and navigate difficult economic conditions.
The campaign group also disclosed that more than 100 constituents benefited from direct cash grants facilitated through the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN). It said the initiative provided targeted support for entrepreneurs seeking to improve their business operations and strengthen their economic standing.
Recognising that financial assistance alone may not guarantee business sustainability, NACO said Adebisi also sponsored a comprehensive business development training programme at Freedom Hotel, Saki. The programme was designed to equip participants with modern business management skills and improve their understanding of the practical requirements for running and expanding viable enterprises.
The organisation maintained that combining financial assistance with entrepreneurial training offered a more comprehensive approach to empowerment, particularly for small business owners seeking to overcome operational challenges and take advantage of emerging commercial opportunities.
Another major intervention highlighted by NACO was Adebisi’s advocacy for the inclusion of indigenous enterprises in government procurement. The group said his efforts were directed at creating opportunities for local businesses, women, youths and artisans to participate in government contracting and gain access to a wider market for their products and services.
According to the campaign organisation, opening procurement opportunities to qualified local businesses could strengthen grassroots commerce, encourage enterprise development and enable more residents to participate in economic activities. It added that such an approach could also support job creation and promote the growth of businesses within the constituency.
NACO argued that small and medium-sized enterprises remain important to grassroots economic development because of their capacity to generate income, support families and create employment opportunities. It said interventions that address financial constraints, improve business skills and expand market access could help local entrepreneurs build more resilient businesses.
The organisation further maintained that Adebisi’s economic empowerment initiatives formed part of a broader development agenda focused on translating public service experience into practical opportunities for constituents. It said the initiatives demonstrated the importance of supporting entrepreneurs not merely with promises but through programmes intended to address identifiable business needs.

With the 2027 elections approaching, NACO said Adebisi’s record of facilitating credit access, securing grants, sponsoring business training and promoting local participation in government procurement would remain central to its presentation of his economic development credentials.
The campaign organisation reiterated that sustainable grassroots progress required deliberate investment in local enterprise, insisting that strengthening small businesses and expanding opportunities for entrepreneurs were essential steps towards a more productive and economically empowered constituency.
