The ongoing direct primary exercise in Saki West, Saki East and ATISBO Federal Constituency has continued to witness massive support for the member representing the constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Tajudeen Abisodun Kareem Were.

Party members, stakeholders and supporters across the three local government areas turned out in large numbers during the exercise, openly demonstrating confidence in the lawmaker’s leadership and representation at the National Assembly.

Reports from several wards indicated that party faithfuls mobilized heavily in support of Hon. Were, describing him as a representative who has remained visible, accessible and committed to the development of the constituency.

Supporters cited his legislative contributions, empowerment programmes, constituency interventions and advocacy on issues affecting Oke-Ogun as reasons behind the widespread acceptance he currently enjoys across the federal constituency.

The atmosphere during the exercise was characterized by solidarity chants, ward-level mobilization and active participation of youth groups, women leaders and grassroots party loyalists who reaffirmed their commitment to the continued progress of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the area.

Some party stakeholders who spoke during the exercise praised Hon. Were for sustaining regular engagement with constituents and for ensuring that the interests of Saki West, Saki East and ATISBO remain represented in national discussions.

Reacting to the show of support, Hon. Were appreciated party members and supporters for their trust and loyalty, assuring them of his continued dedication to effective representation and people-oriented leadership.

“I am grateful for the confidence our people continue to repose in us. This support will further strengthen our resolve to continue serving diligently and advancing the interests of our constituency,” he said.

Political observers say the massive support recorded during the direct primary exercise further reflects Hon. Were’s growing political influence and strong grassroots structure across the constituency ahead of future political contests.
