EID-AL-ADHA: HON. WERE SPARKS JOY IN SAKI WEST, SAKI EAST, AND ATISBO WITH MASSIVE DISTRIBUTION OF RAMS, CAMELS

In keeping with his long-standing tradition of prioritizing the welfare and happiness of his people, the lawmaker representing Saki West, Saki East, and ATISBO Federal Constituency, Hon. Kareem Tajudeen Abisodun Were, has commenced a massive distribution of rams, camels, and financial support to constituents ahead of the upcoming Eid-al-Adha celebration.

This annual intervention, which has become a hallmark of Hon. Kareem’s leadership style, is aimed at ensuring that families across the ten local governments of the constituency can celebrate the festive season with dignity, joy, and abundance, regardless of the prevailing economic challenges.

For constituents in the region, the arrival of festive seasons is always met with reassurance, thanks to Hon. Kareem’s deep-rooted culture of philanthropy. This year’s distribution reached a wide array of stakeholders, ensuring that no sector of the community was left behind.

The beneficiaries of the Eid packages include Chief Imams and Islamic Clerics across the three local governments, traditional rulers, and community leaders who received prestigious packages, including camels, in recognition of their roles as custodians of peace.

Party executives and grassroots mobilizers within the All Progressives Congress (APC), as well as vulnerable families and widows, were also prioritized with rams and cash gifts to ease the burden of the festive season. Beyond the distribution of livestock, significant cash donations were rolled out to cushion the effects of the current economic climate, ensuring that every household has food on their table for the Eid prayers and subsequent celebrations.

The atmosphere at the distribution centers across Saki, Saki East, and Atisbo was charged with excitement as constituents expressed immense gratitude for the lawmaker’s unwavering generosity. Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, a community leader in Saki noted that Hon. Kareem’s actions reinforce his reputation as a leader who truly feels the pulse of his people, stating that the lawmaker does not wait for election years to make them happy.

He added that this has been his tradition long before he went to Abuja, and since he became their representative, the scale of his kindness has only doubled, noting that seeing camels and rams being distributed directly to the people shows they have a father in power, not just a politician.

National Assembly observers note that Hon. Kareem’s ability to balance massive infrastructure projects—such as solar street lighting, digital learning centers, and road constructions—with direct, empathetic human empowerment is what sets him apart in the 10th Assembly. By consistently putting smiles on the faces of his constituents during major celebrations like Eid-al-Adha and Christmas, the lawmaker continues to cement his legacy as a representative whose primary mandate is the absolute happiness and well-being of the people of Oke-Ogun.
