Hon. Tijani Jamiu Ayinde, popularly known as Marshal, has been officially elected and sworn in as the Vice Chairman of Ward 1 (Agbonle) in Saki East Local Government Area.
The swearing-in ceremony, held earlier today, attracted party faithful, community leaders, and supporters who gathered to witness his formal assumption of office.
In his acceptance speech, Marshal expressed deep appreciation to members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the trust reposed in him. He described his election as a call to serve and pledged to strengthen the party’s grassroots structure.
“I am deeply honoured by this opportunity. This role is a responsibility to mobilise, unite, and deliver for our party,” he said.
He assured party members of his commitment to working with stakeholders to secure victory for the APC in the forthcoming elections, stressing unity and effective mobilization as key strategies.
“We will work tirelessly to ensure APC records resounding success in the coming elections. Our focus is on unity and progress,” he added.
Party leaders at the event congratulated the new Vice Chairman and urged him to justify the confidence placed in him through dedication and impactful leadership.
