Engr. Najeem Omirinde Omi-Agba, former Chairman of the Oyo State Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (OYORUWASSA) who doubled as All Progressives Congress (APC) aspirant for the Federal House of Representatives, Saki West/Saki East/Atisbo Federal Constituency, has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of the Baale Iya of Saki, Chief Raheem Aiki Boorepo.
In a statement made available to our correspondent, Engr. Omirinde described the late community leader as a pillar of wisdom, peace and grassroots development whose contributions to the growth and stability of Saki will not be forgotten. He noted that Chief Boorepo played a vital role in fostering unity and preserving the rich cultural heritage of the people.
The APC aspirant further emphasized that the demise of the Baale Iya of Saki is not only a loss to his immediate family but also to the entire Saki community and Oke-Ogun region at large. According to him, the late chief’s leadership style was marked by humility, accessibility and an unwavering commitment to the welfare of his people.
Engr. Omirinde extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, the traditional council and the good people of Saki, urging them to find solace in the impactful life the late Baale lived. He prayed that Almighty God grants the deceased eternal rest and gives those left behind the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
He concluded by calling on the people of the constituency to uphold the values of unity, service and communal harmony which the late Chief Raheem Aiki Boorepo stood for, stressing that his legacy should continue to inspire collective progress and peaceful coexistence across the land.
