The Allied Peoples Movement House of Assembly candidate for Saki West, Saki East and Atisbo Federal Constituency, Hon. Niyi Adebisi, has congratulated the Chairman of Saki West Local Government, Hon. Gbenga Akinola Olaleye, on the occasion of his birthday.
Adebisi, in a goodwill message made available to journalists, described Olaleye as a committed public servant whose leadership at the local government level had continued to demonstrate the importance of responsive governance and people-oriented representation.
He prayed for the council chairman to be endowed with wisdom, sound health and the strength required to continue discharging his responsibilities, while wishing him greater accomplishments in office.
According to him, the birthday celebration should not only be viewed as an occasion to celebrate another year in the life of the council chairman, but also as an opportunity to appreciate his contributions to the development of Saki West Local Government.
Adebisi urged Olaleye to remain steadfast in his service to the people, stressing the need for the council administration to sustain its developmental initiatives and pursue more programmes capable of improving the welfare and living conditions of residents.
He said, “On this special occasion of your birthday, I celebrate with you and pray that Almighty God will continue to grant you wisdom, good health and the strength to successfully steer the affairs of Saki West Local Government.
“May God grant you everlasting reasons to continue glorifying His name and bless you with greater achievements in office. I encourage you to keep it up in representing your people and to continue pushing for more developmental agendas that will positively impact the lives of our people.”
The APM candidate also used the occasion to commend the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for what he described as his dedication, commitment and determination towards transforming the state and repositioning it for sustainable development.
Adebisi acknowledged the Makinde administration’s efforts in various sectors, noting that the governor’s focus on infrastructure, human capital development, economic growth, education, healthcare and other critical areas had contributed to the state’s development trajectory.
He maintained that consistent investment in infrastructure and other sectors remained crucial to placing Oyo State among the leading states in the country, adding that the government’s transformative agenda should be sustained for the benefit of present and future generations.
He further called on political leaders, traditional institutions, community stakeholders and residents across Saki West, Saki East and Atisbo to support initiatives geared towards improving the socio-economic wellbeing of the people.
Adebisi expressed optimism that with continued collaboration between the state and local governments, more developmental opportunities could be attracted to the communities across the constituency.
He congratulated Olaleye once again, wishing him a memorable birthday and many more years of impactful service to humanity.
“May this new chapter bring greater fulfilment, success and lasting accomplishments. May your administration continue to receive divine guidance as you work for the progress and prosperity of the people of Saki West,” he added.
