In what stakeholders have described as a defining moment for youth empowerment and regional development, the Convener of Hope Never Dies, who is also the Majority Leader of Saki West Local Government and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) House of Assembly candidate for the 2027 general elections has unveiled a strategic partnership with the Convener of the Conference to establish the first-ever Tech Academy in the council area. The initiative is being developed in collaboration with Junction Community, a growing network of digital innovators based in Ibadan.
The proposed academy is envisioned as a comprehensive hub for digital capacity building, targeting young people across Saki West and the wider Oke-Ogun zone. According to the announcement, the facility will offer structured training in high-demand fields such as coding, UI/UX design, data analysis, and tech-driven entrepreneurship skills increasingly regarded as essential in today’s global knowledge economy.
