Hon. Salaudeen Kabeer Adebayo, the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) candidate for the Saki West State Constituency, has felicitated with Nigerians on the occasion of the country’s 66th Independence Anniversary, offering prayers for greater success, sustainable development and improved welfare for citizens across the country.

In his Independence Day message, Adebayo described the anniversary as an important moment for Nigerians to reflect on the nation’s journey since independence, celebrate its achievements and renew their collective commitment to building a stronger, more prosperous and inclusive society.

The APM candidate extended his warm greetings to Nigerians, particularly residents of Saki West and the people of Oyo State, while expressing hope that the country would continue to witness meaningful progress across critical sectors of the economy and social life.

Adebayo prayed for continued peace, stability and prosperity in Nigeria, stressing the importance of an environment where citizens can pursue their aspirations with dignity and confidence. He also expressed hope for improvements in the welfare of Nigerians, particularly through greater opportunities for young people, quality education, employment, entrepreneurship and human-capital development.

According to him, the true significance of independence extends beyond the commemoration of a historic date and should inspire citizens and leaders alike to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of the country. He emphasised that national development requires collective responsibility, responsible citizenship and a sustained commitment to the common good.

He further called for greater attention to the welfare of ordinary Nigerians, noting that the strength of any nation is ultimately reflected in the wellbeing and opportunities available to its people. He expressed optimism that continued efforts by governments, institutions, communities and individuals would contribute to creating better conditions for Nigerians.

Adebayo also used the occasion to encourage Nigerians to remain hopeful and committed to the nation’s progress despite existing challenges. He stressed the importance of unity, peaceful coexistence and mutual respect among citizens, describing these as essential foundations for sustainable national development.

While celebrating Nigeria’s 66 years of independence, he prayed that the country would experience greater economic growth, improved social welfare, stronger institutions and increased development across communities.

He reaffirmed his commitment to contributing to initiatives that advance human development and improve the wellbeing of people within Saki West State Constituency, while urging citizens to continue supporting efforts aimed at building a more peaceful and prosperous society.

Adebayo concluded by wishing Nigerians a peaceful and memorable 66th Independence Anniversary, expressing his hope that the years ahead would bring greater success, development, prosperity and improved welfare for all Nigerians.
