In a remarkable demonstration of compassion and civic responsibility, the The Great Club of Oke Ogun has once again reinforced its commitment to community development through a charitable outreach to the Special School, Abata, and the State Hospital in Saki, Oyo State.
The initiative, which has become an annual tradition for the club, featured the donation of essential food items alongside cash gifts to beneficiaries, bringing relief and hope to vulnerable members of society.

Speaking during the outreach, the Chairman of the club, Alhaji Dauda Aderogba, emphasized that the initiative is rooted in a shared sense of gratitude and responsibility. He noted that members of the club, who are predominantly civil servants, make personal sacrifices by contributing from their monthly salaries to fund the outreach activities.
“We are doing this to give back to the community we serve. It is our own way of appreciating God for His blessings upon us,” Aderogba stated. “Despite our limited means, we believe that even the little we contribute collectively can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.”

The chairman also acknowledged the support of the club’s patrons and matron, including Prince Sunday Folorunso Oyewole, Alh Engr Yussuf Soliu Alagbo and Alhaja Fasilat Okanlawon Arolu, whose contributions helped make the outreach successful.
