Saki born footballer, Raheem Nafiu scored his first NPFL goal as Shooting Stars thrash the Heartland FC Owerri with a 4-0 bashing in an NPFL matchday 10 game.
3SC who host the Heartland of Owerri had won their last two games played against Kwara Utd at Lekan Salami Stadium and the one played against MFM of Lagos state, they also added to their winning streak as they win against bottom placed Heartland and the winning will set the tone for their next game, which will be a southwest derby versus Remo Stars.
After a drab scoreless first half, Kolawole Daniel gave the coach Edith Agoye led side the lead in the 52nd minute before Malomo Taofeek, on as a substitute, slotted beyond the goalkeeper to put the home team comfortably ahead with the VIA Football Academy proving his worth to the team.
Responding to a chat with our correspondent, Nafiu was very delighted to score his first NPFL goal for club and promises to do all he could to help the club remain in the NPFL and also to win the league.
